There are 3 different order types at Envelope Ink: Plain Orders, Printed Orders and Sample Orders. There are shipping details relating to each type of order below:
95% of plain orders ship the same or next business day. We do not guarantee same day shipping, but we try very hard!
In the event that an item is backordered, you will be notified and presented with the best options to proceed with the order.
Orders are processed Monday-Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM ET. Orders placed outside of these hours will not be processed until the next business day. Orders placed after 5:00pm ET on Friday, will be processed on Monday, except in the event of a Holiday in which the fulfillment center is closed. Envelope Ink facilities are closed on weekends.
If you order has been processed for shipping, or has shipped, we can't cancel your order. You can refuse the delivery, and your order will be subject to our return policy.
In the event there is a credit card authorization issue, the order will be put on hold and you will be notified immediately.
After you have approved your proof and production is complete, shipping transit time will take from 1-7 business days depending on what level of Shipping Service you have selected. Once your proof is approved, total processing, production and delivery time for printed orders can be as fast as 3 business days or as long as 11 business days depending on your production time, shipping method, and delivery location.
Sample Orders are processed and mailed via the US Postal Service with 1st Class Postage within 3-5 business days. They do not have a tracking number.
In the event a Sample Order is deemed to exceed the US Postal Service 1st Class Mail guidelines you will be contacted by customer service regarding the fee for an alternate shipping method.
If you're in the Detroit area, you can pick up your order FREE of charge at the Southfield, MI location.
You will be notified by phone when your order is ready.

Envelope Ink uses a range of carriers for each shipping option. We choose the most appropriate delivery method for your ship to address. Envelope Ink will choose a preferred carrier after your order has been placed.
Your order will be delivered within 1-3 business days after the order leaves a Envelope Ink facility, not counting the ship date and not including Sunday, or USPS Holidays. Package arrives before end of day along with your normal mail delivery Monday through Saturday.

Your order will be delivered 2-3 business days after the order leaves Envelope Ink, not counting the ship date and not including Saturday and Sunday, or Carrier Holidays. Package usually arrives by end of day.
Your order will be delivered 1 business day after the order leaves Envelope Ink, not counting the ship date and not including Saturday and Sunday, or Carrier Holidays. Package usually arrives before end of day.
Your order will be delivered by a freight truck line.
If you would like to place a FedEx/UPS shipping charge that is over $25.00 on your own FedEx/UPS account, you can supply the number in the comments box on the checkout page. We do not accept customers' account for sample orders. The shipping charge will show on your order confirmation, but we will refund the shipping cost once the order ships.
All orders shipped to a MI address will be charged the appropriate state sales tax.
